Amritsar
Amritsar is a city in the Northern Indian State of Punjab.
It is 28 kilometers away from the border of Pakistan.
As it is walled old town, there is a glided Golden Temple(Harvandir Sahib) at its center.
along with the golden temple there is a sikh museum contains paintings, manuscripts and weapons.
There are some stalls through the lane having traditional embroidered clothing and shoes.
The Maharaja ranjit Singhs summer places is surronded by the Rambagh Gardens. There is amemorial garden remembering the victims of a 1919 British Army Massacre.
The Durgrana Mandir(Hindu Temple) assembles the Golden Temple, has intricately carved silver doors.
Amritsar is the largest and most important city in Punjab and is a major commercial, cultural, and transportation centre.
Best Time to Visit Amritsar:
November to March – The best time to visit Amritsar is between November and March, when the weather is comparatively pleasant and ideal for sightseeing and visiting the Golden Temple. However, sometimes the temperature can touch a freezing – 4 Degree Celsius.
Amritsar is an attractive destination for tourism espicially those parts of golden triangles.

Amritsar has a semiarid climate, typical of Northwestern India and experiences four seasons primarily: winter season (December to March, when temperatures can drop to −1 °C , summer season (April to June) where temperatures can reach 45 °C , monsoon season (July to September) and post-monsoon season (October to November). Annual rainfall is about 703.4 millimetres. The lowest recorded temperature is −3.6 °C , was recorded on 9 December 1996 and the highest temperature, 47.8 °C. The official weather station for the city is the civil aerodrome at Rajasansi.

Wagah Border is located at a distance of 22 km from Lahore, 28 km away from Amritsar.

Jallianwala Bagh is a public garden in Amritsar famous for one of the most tragic yet landmark events in the history of India. This is where the Amritsar Massacre of 1919 took place.
